A Total Pane

WHAT I AM WEARING:
Daisy Rae Top c/o (option) (option) // Joe Fresh Pants at JCP (here) // Go Jane Heels (option) (option) // Forever 21 Bag (similar) // Lilac Bijoux Necklace c/o SOLD OUT // Forever 21 Glasses (option) // Cathryn Ann Designs Bracelet c/o // Wallis Bracelet c/o

One of my favorite prints (at this moment) is the windowpane pattern. When I came across these Joe Fresh ankle pants last week, I took them straight to the dressing room. I tend to look the other way when it comes to printed pants because typically they aren't the most flattering on my figure and can get a little busy, but these were subtle and basic. They fit true to size, offer enough leg room and don't create the "bunchy-wrinkled-gathering" effect that most pants of this style do when I wear them.

The only thing I thought to myself as I walked up to the register to check out was, "Shanna, you know these pants are mostly white. You are messy. Are you sure that you can keep them clean?" Oh, to heck with it, I am getting them. I'll just have to make sure that I don't eat or drink anything on the days I wear them. Problem solved. Maybe I will use this same philosophy when I finally buy a pair of white denim. Nope, I still don't own a pair because of this very reason.

Here are a few other options that caught my eye. What do you think?

Are you on board with the windowpane print? It's kind of fun, right?

I love the windowpane trend and you nailed this look! I have been wanting to try the leather trend too, but it is out of my comfort zone. I need to just do it! I am sad that the Daisy Ray shop is closing. She has such cute tops! Have a great day! Susan

Joe Fresh is rocking my world at JC Penney! These pants are awesome - I love them. Looking forward to being able to buy more fashionable clothing once I'm out of maternity, however, I'm very much enjoying pregnancy so I'm not rushing that either!

I love those pants on you! Especially with the leather!!! I am a disaster when it comes to eating or drinking (or writing or walking...) so I completely get where you're coming from about the white, but for some reason (knock on wood) I never drip on myself when I wear white so maybe there is hope!

I am obsessed with those pants! I had a black pair from express from many many years ago. I think they found their way to goodwill :(

love this look on you! I wish I could pull off that much white, but they would probably be 40 different colors by the time my day was done.
