Short & Simple - Pinterest Style

So, I am feeling a tad bit sluggish today after my monthly girls' night out. Forgive me for the quick and to the point post. Plus, I am on my way to San Antonio for a style sesh. Ya know, shopping someone's amazing closet and playing dress up.

Anyway, I saw this outfit on Pinterest a few weeks ago and fell head over heels. 1. Because it entailed a scarf. 2. It showcased a hint of leopard.

I can totally do this. I have all the equipment to make this baby work.

Yes, the girl in the original pin is HAWT, model like...Gisele style. Me, I am a mom of two and had to work with what the good Lord gave me.

I think it turned out okay. I am still yearning for the boots she is wearing, but my Payless wedges had to do.

GET THE LOOK HERE:
Top: Lauren Conrad (option) | Pants: Nordstrom Rack (option) | Scarf: Macy's (option) | Shoes: Payless (option) | Bag: Forever 21 (option) | Glasses: Forever 21 (exact)

There ya go, Pinterest strikes yet again.

Have you recreated any styles from your boards? It's kinda fun, right? Like one ginormous dress up party?

See ya kids tomorrow. Hopefully. This week has been rough with blogging. I just can't seem to get it together. Do you ever have those weeks?

I am linking up with Stephanie and Katie for Saw It. Pinned It. Did It. Go check out some other peeps that put their Pinterest to good use!

"Hint of leopard" is my personal philosophy on getting dressed. Andy banned animal print in the houseprobably because my single lady apartment was covered in it, so I have to fit it in where I can because I love it so much.

Oh I love this look. I feel as though I now "need" a little bit of leopard in my life:) And I really do wish you lived in NoVa, my closet is crying for you to come and help!

first of all i love you. love your outfit as always (i almost bought that skirt once and now wish I did). but love your honesty. I want you to be able to share what you are going through and I am sure that so many people can relate. while different, sharing our struggles with trying to get pregnant has been such a blessing b/c so many go through the same thing and feel alone. BUT it is still scary everytime you hit publish to put yourself out there. There are times I have fears and anxiety about things still and I don't want to appear ungrateful for being pregnant and so I don't always share. and I think you do a good job of still being open and honest, but sharing what you are comfortable with!
