Peek Into My Life - Round 2

Okay, not sure if this will be a weekly post, but I couldn't resist letting you guys peek into my life once again.  If you missed last week's mishap you can read about it here.

So, here with go with Round 2.

Let me first start by saying that I took these photos with my iPhone, not the best quality, but you get the picture. Secondly, this "show" took place in our game room.  I repeat game room, okay, maybe free for all Barbie, giant horse, disaster area room. This place is a freaking mess. I have given up trying to keep it clean while the girls are in make believe land.  I know, it's a wreck....this is no news to me.

I walk into the game room throw everything all over the floor room, and feasted my eyes on this...I can't really say I was surprised...just another day at the "office".

Yes, those are Lucky Charms all over the floor. I was told that the fuzzy, over-sized horse was hungry and needed a snack. Looks like he might have ate too many and decided to take a little nap.
In my calm, try not to scream, Mommy voice, I told them that they better start picking up the mess "NOW!!!!" So, the well mannered children they are, started "picking" up and eating the cereal off the floor.
And this is what was left...notice anything missing?  Let me help you...the MARSHMALLOWS!! They suddenly vanished...hmmmm, I wonder where they went?
I thought I was teaching her some sort of lesson, but as you can see from her facial expression, this is all fun a games.

She thinks she is such a big girl and was even wiggling her booty to her own vacuum tune. I guess when life gives you lemons...make lemonade. Good attitude, right?
Making progress...
Only a few left.  After it was all said and done, she asked, "Can I get them out now and put them back in the bag for breakfast tomorrow?" And this is why I don't watch reality TV...I live it every single day.

You might be wondering why Logan, my oldest, didn't have to clean up. Well, let's just say she was trying to help cover her little sister's tracks by cleaning eating up the mess.  This was all Landry's (the Sparkle Monkey) doing.

I will give them credit, at least they know what the best part of the cereal is. Who really likes the brown, sort of healthy part of Lucky Charms anyway?  I would have gone straight for the marshmallows too!

The regular scheduled program will be back tomorrow.

Cheers to keeping it real!

So funny. I'll have to tell my husband about this. We were just getting on to Michael yesterday because he likes to dump out his bowl of (dry) cereal and eat it off the floor. What's up with that?

Hahahaha. They're definitely right - the marshmallows are undoubtedly the best part of Lucky Charms. It is so hilarious that they tried to feed the stuffed horse though. I love it.

Shanna this is way too funny, your girls are adorable. We only had healthy, non sugary cereal as a kid and the one time my dad bought lucky charms little me ate alllll the marshmallows out and he swore he'd never buy them again. My sister was furious!!!

Hahaha too cute! Of course they ate the marshmallows. I used to get so mad because I was a good kid and ate all the cereal but my brother would go through and steal all the marshmallows leaving me with just the cereal part! How rude.

I cracked up when I saw the picture with the missing marshmallows. My mom used to get so mad at me when she would open the box of Lucky Charms and find all the marshmallows were gone.
