Pin Spin - Stripes & Florals

I think it's safe to say I have actually been putting my pins to good use, the fashion ones at least. I REALLY should to get to the ones on my recipe board. Oh well, there is always tomorrow or next month or next year. I am not gonna try and lie to myself. I pin recipes to make myself feel somewhat domesticated. It's the thought that counts, right? Hey, I just might surprise you folks one day and actually post a meal that I pinned, as long as I don't burn it.

Anywho, let's refocus on the pin(s) at hand.

If you have been reading along for very long (since like yesterday), you know that I love me some pattern mixing. I might be borderline addicted. Two patterns that keep reeling me in are stripes and floral. Love them to the moon and back. When I saw the two pins up above, I knew I must get to gettin'. I adore both of these looks and am still on the hunt for the perfect stripe blazer. Know where to find one that is budget friendly? Lemme know.

There ya go, my spin on my pins.

Happy weekend, y'all!

P.S. Can we talk about how every time I smile one eye squints to half the size of the other?

Love this!! I need to do a better job with my outfit pins as well but you knocked this one out of the park!

My eye does that too...even more so if I've had a few glasses of wine. I affectionately call it my 'crunk eye'

Such a cute outfit Shanna! Love the stripes and florals together, so springy! And um, I pin lots of recipes too... and I think I've made a total of 1. And when I smile, one of my eyes squints smaller than the other too! :)

I fear pattern mixing. You did it with panache!

This is the first year in FOREVER that I've actually purchased things that are patterned or striped. I'm branching out, probably from reading your blog!

Stripes and florals? Who'd have thunk it? But I like it. I have one eye that tends to go smaller then the other too! No worries. You still look cute as a button.

I'm loving stripes and florals too! Those pins are great! And I have one semi lazy eyelid that closes faster than the other. You can especially see it if you take a picture of me mid-blink...haha.

I love how you mixed patterns! It looks fabulous!

My eyes do that same thing. Photographers are always asking me to open my eyes, and I'm like, I AM! They get really small, but one basically closes. Its frustrating :).

Aaaah! I have the exact same problem with my eyes! One of the reasons I hate smiling in pictures. Though, just in general, my eyes are both super squinty in pictures.
Also, of course, I love this combination. I always loved pattern mixing, but my sister has never been a big fan of my "not matching," so I don't do it as often. But I am totally going to do this once the weather warms up enough.
