Rock Star Glam

I posted this #ootd style on Instagram before we headed out to the Fossil and Foster the People SXSW event in Austin. I was going for an edgy rock look, but wanted to include touches of both glam and feminine pieces as well. I put together a similar look of what I wore that evening below.

Typically, I don't wear matchy-match accessories. I like to style different metals, colors and textures, but this time, the sprinkled out coral/salmon just worked. With the black pieces on top, destroyed denim and heels, the duplicated accent colors blended well and flowed with the overall style.

Thanks for stopping by and reading today! Sorry to be so short. Things will be back to the normal, lengthy jabber in a few days. I thought I would give you ladies a break from my chitter-chatter. Enjoy!

I'm officially old because I try to wear boots or wedges to any concert situation - I don't think I can handle heels for that long :( But I have serious respect for anyone that can!

Love this look. The coral gives a nice contrast with the black. I tend to stick with neutral colors and have been trying to get more into buying things with some color

I love the coral accessories...they give a nice girly contrast to the tough leather!

I am diggin' this! I wish I could wear anything like this at Coachella - unfortunately the dirt ground + sweltering heat won't allow for much of anything! Wahhh. Haha. Hope you had a great time!
