Another Pair of Leopard

You know you really want a pair of shoes when you start putting together virtual outfits with similar items you have in your closet just to prove to yourself that you will indeed wear them...with lots and lots of things.

WEEKDAY LUNCH DATE

SUNDAY FUNDAY

SHOPPING WITH THE GIRLS

I have been thinking about these leopard, pony hair Steve Madden slip-on sneakers  ten times a day for over a month now. I just haven't been able to bring myself to spend $100 on a pair of shoes...another leopard pair for that matter. You ladies know I am frugal and get most of my footwear from Forever 21, DSW, Old Navy or Target. I have even Googled "leopard sneakers" to see if I could find a similar pair for a smaller price tag. I have seen a few friends post that they found a pair at the Gap and River Island, but they are not online. I am going to sleep on it one more night, then either bite the bullet or move on to something new that I'll obsess over during the month of March.

What do you ladies think? You know how I love getting your opinions and thoughts on these types of serious, life changing dilemmas. :)

You actually made me want these! They look like they'll go with so much! My rule is I have to get rid of two items for every one that's come in. You could sell something on Poshmark or giveaway to goodwill...Best of luck, they are FABULOUS!

I believe you can never have too much leopard print!

Love your outfit inspirations! I will have to recreate these outfits since somehow I decided to buy and keep 2 pair of leopard casual shoes. In my defense, they are different styles and slightly different color :)

I love the outfits you have lined up for your new shoes. My motto is - "buy once, cry once." If you know you will wear them often and the quality is there, then they will be an investment!

Honestly I would say go to Nordstrom and try them on, I found those to be a little bulky on me that's why I got the Sam Edelmans pair instead. But I love mines and I've worn them so many times already.

I LOVE THEM and also want a pair (EEP). If I want to be casual I usually wear my Toms but these are the perfect go to!

I wish I would have gotten them at Gap when they were online! Sell some more items on Poshmark and then treat yourself...its deserved! :)

Oh but they're so, so perf! Maybe wait for them to go on sale? 100+ does seem a little steep, although when I had my leopard flats, I literally wore them with EVERYTHING.

SMD @ lifeaccordingtosteph said...

I wouldn't buy them for full price since you have a lot of leopard. Sometimes I obsess over something, finally pull the trigger on it, and when I get it I'm dismayed to find out something else I have would've worked just as well if not better. And I return it and get something awesome. hahaha

I am having the same internal delimma with these shoes! I tried on a Cynthia Rowley dupe I found on clearance and they were just too clunky for me! I love your inspirations though!

Tom's has some cute options for less and their also was a company in the UK " Office.co.ok" but probably by the time you add shipping not a big savings. They are so cute and the styling options you are showing.. I woulod probably convince myself they were a necessity. Good luck.

I think if you've been thinking about them that much then chances are you will really wear the heck out of them. And knowing you, you'll have them for years. I think in the long run you will get your money's worth.

I have never regretted purchasing leopard shoes, I have ALWAYS regretted not purchasing them... I say go for it. Looks like you already have numerous ways to style them!!

I love the first outfit with the stripes and leopard pattern mixing! Honestly while leopard is here to stay, I don't see the slip on sneaker trend lasting too long. Maybe see if you can find a cheaper version?

I've been eyeing those as well but am struggling with the $100 price tag for fun sneakers. I found these at H&M if you're interested. I may go for them!

I feel the same way about these - LOVE THEM but can't bring myself to spend that $$$.

Of course there are still a pair of Native American inspired shoes by Steve that I didn't' snag that I'm STILL kicking myself for not getting.

I will say this - while they aren't the same style (slide on) Vans has a nice looking pair of lace up sneakers for girls and guys that are leopard on their site. I JUST WISH THEY'D MAKE THIS TYPE - slide ons are my jam.

Let us know if you cave I love the styles you chose for them. I love leopard flats they always make me feel more edgy...

I’m obsessed with slip-on sneaks! I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair and found these leopard slip-ons at Windsor Store online. $12.90? Can’t beat that! ;) http://www.daintyjea.com/2014/02/leopard-slip-ons.html

Did you see there are also camo versions? http://www.heels.com/womens-shoes/ecentric-camoflage.html
I have been looking at them too. And like you, struggling to be ok with that price tag.

I don't know if I should be excited or angry with you. (; I am loving that TX tee and seriously.. I've been having this ongoing debate about buying myself some leopard slip-on sneakers! Guess I need to let go of two things so I can make room in my closet for those two gems!

The top two are my faves, cute and a little edgy;) I would LOVE to wear those leopard sneakers with denim cut offs and that cute tee. I need these shoes, don't I??!

So I can say I am totally obsessed with these sneakers too. I searched and searched for the cheaper Gap version in store and online, but no luck. So I bit the bullet and got the steve madden. Not sure if I'll actually keep them, but I totally feel you on spending that much on sneakers that are just another leopard piece.

Did you get them?! I think they are a NEED (even though I'm pretty sure you still have at least 4 other leopard print shoes in your closet, but what's one more!?)
