A Big Blank

Blazer: Old Navy (old) | Top: Forever 21 | Pants: Target (in store only) |Necklace: Jewel IQ | Flats: Payless (old)

Okay, what I am about to say is probably a blogger faux pas, but oh well.

I have nothing really to say today. Is that bad? Let me answer that. YES! I am a blogger and I have drawn a complete blank. This doesn't typically happen to me. My mind goes ninety miles an hour all the time. I always have something to say, usually too much to say.

Right now all my thoughts, ideas and words are gone. Vanished. I am tired of talking about the weather. It's hot. Then it's cold. Then hot again. My weekend wasn't the grandest. Hence, the no "weekend recap" post. I am feeling a little stressed, but I don't want to gripe and be a Debbie Downer.

I am even drawing a big blank on what to say about my outfit. All that comes to mind is that I REALLY liked this look, but for some reason it didn't photograph well. Does this happen to other bloggers too? You get really excited about what you put together and then it comes across as mediocre blah and nothing really to converse about?

Well, there you have it, folks, a writer's block post. Please, come back tomorrow. I plan to get a good night's rest and think of something clever to say tomorrow. I won't be this lame again. Hopefully.

Aw, I'm sure your writer's block will be gone soon! I LOVE the pattern mixing and think it looks great, but I do know what you mean about outfits not looking good when you take pics of them...SO annoying! Happy Monday Shanna :)

I have wanted a striped shirt for so long but I haven't found one that fits me the way I want it to so I'm still looking ^^
Love this outfit, looks lovely on you xx

I'm sorry you're feeling "bla." Hopefully you have a good day today and are back to your normal self tomorrow.

I think the outfit photographed well! At least you had someone take the pictures for you with a good camera. I am still taking self pics in a mirror so basically everything photographs poorly!

Super cute pattern mixing, Shanna! This happens to me all the time that I get writers' block, especially if nothing particularly interesting happened that week. I think it's just part of being a blogger and it happens to everyone!

I saw those pants the other day and thought, those are cute but how would I wear them? Now I know!

I hate it when an outfit you really like doesn't photograph well. But I think you look great! The pattern mixing is awesome!

I hate it when I have a great outfit and nothing to say about it. I guess it's better to have gorgeous pictures and no words than a crappy outfit and no words as well. Love those pants. I want to go get them right now...but I have to work on a holiday.

This happens to me a lot! If I don't really have anything to say then I do a super short post. I feel like it evens itself out. And sometimes I wear an outfit like I feel like a million bucks in and then I get photographed and I'm like that is the worst outfit ever. Go figure! Love the stripes and dots!

Hahaha. This happens to all of us. It's happened to me a lot lately and I don't know why! I guess we just can't be exciting and full of thoughts every day :) Regardless, I like your outfit and the print mixing!

I do that all the time!! I put something together and think it is awesome and it just looks blah on the blog. Then the things that were boring in person turn out well on the blog. I never know anymore!

I totally can relate on both fronts - sometimes I think an outfit looks so great in my head, then I see the pics and I'm disappointed. But I think your outfit is cute! And I understand about the writer's block... happens to me a lot!

We all have those days. But sometimes the best posts are the honest "I have nothing to say" posts because they show just how awesome your personality is!

And yes, I have outfits like that all the time. I think they are great, then I take pics and get frustrated. Oh well. We all have those days!
