You should know by now that I shop like it's my job...more like a non-paying internship.

Online, in stores or off other people...you name it. I've done it.

But, the key to my shopping addiction experience is keeping it accessible to not only my own bank account that's far from overflowing with greenbacks, but keeping it in reach for all of you too.

I am not saying that I am cheap. I am saying that you don't have to spend a lot to look like you did. There are thousands of shops/brands out there, in my opinion, that offer well made apparel and accessories and many times deliver better quality than higher end brands.

That is where OUTRAGE FASHION comes into play. The online accessory company based in California is just that, quality accessories at affordable prices. And let's not just talk quality and price. How about all the utter cuteness, lust worthy designs, studs, sparkles, neon hues, bold patterns and on trend styles. Should I go on? How about this? Take a look at some of my tops picks below. Then visit OUTRAGE FASHION for yourself and see what I am talking about. Pure shopping bliss.

Today, OUTRAGE FASHION has been generous enough to offer one lucky friend of Because Shanna Said So a $75 credit to their online store. This will be help pay for all the items you add to your "shopping cart" once you take a peek at all their goodness!

Do you remember the palazzo pant? Well, I sure as heck do and I sported them many moons ago. You know, back in the day of middle school and high school. Some of you may or may not have even been born yet.

Anyway, did you happen to know they are making a comeback? This trend is one I am pretty pumped about because let's face it, colored denim is fun, but it's about to get hot up in here. I can't bare to wear much denim in the spring and summer, so this is a refreshing option if you like your legs covered. And I am one to cover up my stems until I have a chance to hop in a lawn chair and catch some rays.

Back to the word palazzo pant. For some reason, in my head, this name is a little wack. Just like I refuse to call my chambray shirt a blue jean top. If you ask me, it's a lot more fun to give our clothes fancy names.

So, I am choosing to remove the term "palazzo" and insert the term "resort" because when I wear them I kinda feel like I am headed to some sort of exotic beach to sip on an umbrella drink.

An added bonus...they feel like pajama pants. Who out there longs to slip into PJs as soon as the day is done? This girl sure does. Some days I don't even take mine off.

Take notice next time you're out and about. I bet you spy these little pretties and see a lot more of them as we head into the warmer months.

Speaking of trends, I have a buddy of mine today that is killing a trend....the trend of living a healthy lifestyle and on a mission to lose 100 lbs. I think this girl already deserves a round of applause.

Meet Miss Katie from KTJ Weighing In

It takes a ton of courage to be forthcoming about your weight, no matter your size. It takes even more bravery to write about it for all the world to see. This is why Katie is such an inspiration to me. She is not afraid to share her weight loss journey, struggles and triumphs alike, with other people.

And she is not just gabbing about her own personal story, she is reaching out and making this a place of community. A place where women of all walks can band together to get fit, healthy and lead an active lifestyle. Her and a blog partner have teamed up for a weekly 5K Challenge link up and on June 1st will be hosting a virtual 5K. Pretty freaking cool right?

I encourage you to head on over to Katie's blog for some serious motivation, heart felt reading and just to tell her that she is empowering women all of the country to strive for better living.

Today, Katie wants to share her passion by giving away a "Finally Thin" by Kim Bensen and a $15 iTunes gift card so you can add some jams to your workout playlist.

Guess who got a new camera this weekend???

If you follow me on Instagram, you already know the answer. For those who didn't see, Momma got a new lens.

The point and shoot was a great friend and got me to where I am at today, but I felt like it was time. Time to bite the bullet, stop being overwhelmed with all the DSLR options and just do it!

Ross, the girls and I spent Saturday afternoon at Precision Camera in Austin. When we walked in, anxiety filled my body and I got a little dizzy...so many cameras, lenses, kits, flashes and every do-hickey known to man.

Thank God for Ross. He has been doing a lot of research online and talking camera jargon with friends, so he kinda knew what we wanted and didn't want.

The associate at Precision was awesome and spent a ton of time with us. We told him the basics on what we were looking for in a new DSLR camera and it's purpose...blog (duh), hunting and to shoot pictures of our girls.

After holding, touching, discussing about three cameras, we went with the Sony alpha SLT-A65. You might be saying, Sony? Sony makes a quality, award winning camera? Yep, I said the same exact thing. I have always heard people talk about Canon and Nikon, but never really hearing Sony come out of their mouths.

Our salesman explained that Sony has become one of the leaders in cameras, is on the forefront of technology and has won several awards for their equipment.

Let's be honest, I know that Ross is going to be using our new camera baby way more than I will. He is this blog's photographer, plus he figures stuff out way better than I do. I don't have the paitence to maneuver through all the bells and whistles. So, my sweet man stayed up late and learned a ton in just a few shorts hours. He is a jack of all trades and that is one of the million reasons why I married him.

So, this shoot was the very first with Mr. Sony . I am pretty impressed with the outcome of the first go around, especially since they were taken the same day that we brought it home. We have a long way to go, but we will get there. I can't wait for you guys to see the second round of the style shoot we he did.

We plan on taking a class and Googling as much as we can to get the most mileage out of this investment.

I don't have to tell you that purchasing a new camera is an investment.  I almost fainted when it came time to pay, but I do believe that it will be worth every single penny.

I just wish that we would have bit the bullet and got one months ago. It truly makes a difference.

So farewell, point and shoot. It was real. It was fun. Don't worry, I plan to still use you since you fit so easily into my bag.

Hello, Sony alpha SLT-A65. I could just kiss, hug and squeeze you!

Cheers to new picture taking beginnings.

Say cheese!!
