I hope everyone had a happy and safe July 4th. I am still on a little vacay. So, the funny and clever Miss Sami is filling in for me today.  You ladies are going to LOVE her. You have to read her celebrity fashion reviews. Hilarious! This girl tells it like it is and then some. Give it up for Sami!

Today I want to share with you two of my favorite summertime looks!

I live in dresses during the Summer because they are comfortable and so fun!

I chose this adorable Target dress because it highlights one of my favorite trends, the high and low hem and it has great colors. I added a turquoise necklace Bauble Bar necklace which is gorgeous. For the arm party, I chose Stella and Dot's Renegade bracelet and a fun, colorful skull bead bracelet. Finish the look off with Sam Edelman yellow wedges and a classic and gorgeous nude Chanel bag. This outfit is perfect for a Summer night date!

What's better for Summer then a perfect pool outfit. I love this purple ruffle bikini, it's simple but has adorable feminine touches. To cover-up I chose this simple jersey maxi dress from Old Navy. This one can be worn outside the pool too! The accesories are also important! This Hurley fedora will shield your face from the rays, and the House of Harlow sunglasses will shield your eyes. Finally, throw on these gorgeous silver Sam Edelman sandals. Ready for a fun day by the pool. Don't forget the sunscreen!

I plan to copy both of these fun outfits for my Summer plans!

As I told you yesterday, I am off "glamping" in the woods! So, my blogging BBF is here today showing off a pair of shorts from my most coveted store, F21. If you haven't met Angela, it's time you did. Any friend of mine should be a friend of yours! She had me from "hello" six months ago! Love you, Angela, my little necklace fairy!

Hi everyone, I'm Angela from Head to Toe Chic and you might remember me from this post. I'm so excited to be guest posting again for my best blog friend today! When Shanna asked me to guest post I knew I had to wear something from Forever 21 since I know how much she loves that store! I picked up these shorts a couple months ago from Forever 21 and I love them. After the floral pants craze (which I was a huge fan of) I knew that I needed a pair of floral shorts for the summer. I wore this outfit over the weekend and it was perfect since it's been outrageously hot, like I'm sure it has been almost everywhere.

I'm going "glamping"

Welcome back, friends! Monday is here again. I hope everyone had a ringer of a weekend. I can say that mine was just what the doctor ordered...a lot of relaxing , no scheduling, trampoline jumping, iPod playing, mad grilling and comfy shorts wearing kind of remedy. 

I am heading out for a little "glamping" this week.  That is my way of saying I am going camping, but not actually "roughing" it in the woods. Momma needs some electrical outlets, running water and a pillow to rest my sleepy head. I have a few of my favorite bloggers headlining this week, so make sure to check back for some fab reading. I will be back in full effect next Monday! I will do my darnedest to respond to emails and comments in between making smores, catching fish and riding water slides.

And hey you, predators of people that are out of town, my neighbors are watching my house like a hawk and we have a full on alarm system. So, don't be getting any crazy ideas!

Saturday's comfy look courtesy of Tar-jay. I think I have worn these shorts every single weekend since I scooped them up.  Most comfortable shorts on the planet. Go get a pair!

I was so excited when I finally found these. They taste exactly like the Carmel Delights that the Girl Scouts sell. They are a bar of deliciousness, BUT they will jack up your stomach. Eat with caution. Work that fiber SLOWLY into your diet or you will pay the price!

Cheering on the Express at the Dell Diamond. There is nothing quite like watching some tight pant wearing boys swing the bat. I love this game!

We watched fireworks early for the 4th since there will be no popping while we are out "glamping" this week.

Aren't they lovely?  This was our Saturday night entertainment.

Nothing better than jumping on the trampoline on a Sunday afternoon, especially when the temps were only in the 80's. Praise God! We have been battling 100+ degree weather lately in Texas.  This was like a cold front for us!

Now, don't be jealous of this grilling greatness. I can't take credit. The Lord blessed me with a husband that is a gill master. I licked my fingers until they were raw! Thanks, Ross for a scrumptious Sunday.
