Easy Like Sunday Morning

Today is Monday and I wore this outfit on Friday, but all I could think of when I was writing this post was Lionel Richie's song "Easy Like Sunday Morning". This style is just that, easy. It's another basic black and tan color scheme with a punch of animal print; which is always a win in my book. I dressed up this same color palette and style idea a few weeks ago. This look is a little more on the casual side, but worked for my busy day.

Friday consisted of visiting my best friend and her new baby boy at the hospital, having a girlfriend lunch, hair appointment (still not happy and need my blonde back), errands and then a family evening with neighborhood friends in the cul-de-sac.

We started with a chill in the air and ended the exact same way. Temps in the 60's had me grabbing for this cardigan. Who cares that it warmed up a little by mid-afternoon, I was determined to dress the fall weather part...all day. Now, if Mother Nature would stop her teasing and quit playing with our emotions. Sunday definitely felt like the early side of Spring. Let's just say, cardigans weren't on the agenda.

These colors are so pretty for fall! I still think your hair looks great, but whenever I go darker, I instantly regret it, so I totally feel ya!

Love the cardigan! I have been into boyfriend and long cardigans lately. I love the neutral pallet. Simple is always best in my book. Sounds like you had a good weekend.

I have literally worn this exact same outfit (minus that fab necklace)! Now if only I could figure out what I did with my dang camel cardigan, I'd wear it again! And girl, "Easy" is one of my all-time fave Lionel Richie songs. You know I recently saw him in concert, right? SO SO good. Love this effortlessly chic look my friend.

This is exactly the type of look I want to live in all fall long! I can't stop wanting every loose fitting open front cardigan I see. And love seeing something other than a skinny jean! I rely on my skinnies so much, but will have to remember that there's other options that look great and stylish!

I love your hair, but this from the gal that went from Blonde to Auburn. It may sound strange but changing hair colour is like quitting smoking, it is either your time or its not. When it is your time you will fell it instantly but until then you will fall off the wagon... Now if i could only feel that way about cutting it, not ready to take that leap yet. Great outfit though.

Okay for the first thing ever I think Texas has better weather than California at the moment - it's 90 degrees here and continues to keep burnin' up!!

Love love love the details of this outfit - your jewelry is on point! And looooove your nail color :)

Gorgeous look, Shanna! I love how effortless yet chic this look is! Such perfect colors for the fall and I love that you paired this outfit with leopard heels! For what it's worth, I think your new hair color looks amazing! You're so lucky that you can color your hair. I so want to do the same, but the older I get, the less tolerant my hair is to coloring. The last time I colored my hair broke off really badly:( Maybe I'll try a milder rinse. Been itching for a different look!
