2014 Spring Footwear - 10 to Try

Winter wear has officially shifted toward the back of my brain and all things for the new season have moved to the forefront.

I have been doing my best not to purchase any new items that relate to cold weather, instead I have been stalking my favorite online retailers to see what they have in store for spring. I am a sucker for a pair of shoes especially when they make statement or become a staple piece that can be worn time and again.

2014 Spring Footwear

I rounded up 10 footwear styles that you will see plenty of for Spring 2014. I can't wait to add a few to my closet and others I will most likely leave on the racks.

I have been looking for a brown lace up, peep toe bootie for a solid month and came across this pair from Steve Madden. I added them to my wish list and plan on making the purchase very soon.

I was pleasantly surprised that the chunky heel is making a comeback in 2014. I am not the biggest fan of a large block square heel, but prefer ones that are more tapered like the ones I found at Forever 21.

Cuffs and straps at the ankle will forever be my friends. Both styles make ankles look smaller and offer support when wearing higher heels.

I haven't been able to take my eyes off the knee high gladiator sandals, but for some reason I cannot see myself personally wearing them. I love how they have been styled in magazines and on few blogs, but I would feel more comfortable in ones that come a bit lower on my legs like this Sam Edelman pair.

Are any of these styles going to be making their way to your closet anytime soon?

I also love the ankle and cuff strap trend, glad its staying this year. But one I'm really excited for is the brights. Not too sure about the mules and knee highs on me. Great picks :)

I would love to get a pair of gladiators for summer. I think I like the ones that are a bit lower too. And maybe a pair of floral flats. I need to wear heels more often. But honestly, in the summer, its all about the sandals! Susan

I love the ankle-cuffs, mules and metallic oxfords...will definitely be investing in some of those. Still on the fence about the knee-high gladiator sandals...will have to try them on to see if they are flattering!

The knee high gladiator... Don't do it! Or maybe you can pull it off. I could never!!!

Great collage.

I'm liking the T-strap and ankle cuff styles... that can of course cover the brights. If I find the right ones of either of those, they'll be coming home with me. :)

I'm dying for metallic oxfords, anything floral, & t strap. I tried on some heels with mesh the other day and decided they were not for me... but they looked cute on the shelf. That and I don't wear heels that often! Can't wait to see how you style them!

I'm always a fan of bright colored shoes :)

However, I just can't get on board with the gladiator sandals or the florals.

I'm a flip flop girl at heart, it doesn't get much easier than that in the spring and summer! I do love all colored shoes.

I am not a fan of the gladiator.

I'm ready to stop wearing my boots already- bring on the pretty colors!

I'm like you and am just not sure if those knee-high gladiators would work for me, though I do think they look amazing on certain people! I pinned those Forever 21 block heels though, and will definitely be investing in those or a similar pair this spring for sure:)

Also a big fan of the ankle cuff!

I saw some metallic oxford at Gap last week, so pretty, so shiny, not sure I can rock them, but I can dream; the knee high gladiators might be perfect for me, I need to go on a hunt for some.

Awesome round up

I ordered some mesh booties from a place called www.justfor5pounds.com . Everything is 5 pounds, or about $8.50. It's a great way to try trends and not commit a bunch of money! (I saw it on another blogger's site. I don't make commission if you buy anything there's nothing to sign up for. I just am excited about deals!)

What gorgeous picks! *_* This is like heaven for a shoe addict, hehe. The Steve Madden lace-up brown booties sound so adorable!

Hmm, I've actually never tried ankle/cuff straps before but now that you've mentioned it... I definitely need to give it a whirl! They always look super cute on bloggers, though I'm always hesitant on trying out the look on myself!

I would have to say the chunky heel is definitely making an appearance in my closet this season! This just inspired me to go shoe-shopping... again!

You've got such a wonderful Shanna! :-) I am now your newest follower. Looking forward to reading your upcoming posts!
